The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is also known by his name; The case of the neighborhood angel turning me into an unconscious degenerate. It is a Japanese light novel, illustrated by Hanekoto and written by Saekisan.

As I mentioned earlier, it’s a slice of life, romantic comedy that has a light novel, manga, and also a novel series version. The anime adaptation will soon find its way, which we’ll talk about next. The novel has completed publication, but the light novel and manga have yet to release their next volumes.

Angel Next Door anime release date

Project9 officially announced in 2022 that the manga would soon find its anime adaptation and release its season. But unfortunately, the time of its release has not been formalized, nor the number of episodes. From what our sources have been able to gather, the anime could debut in 2023 but not before fall in all likelihood. And if you’re lucky, who knows, the anime might as well be hitting the OTTs by 2022.

Well, hold on tight, as soon as we hear the official dates we’ll be running back to let you know, until then you can read either the manga or the novels.

But rest assured, since the news of the anime release is official, the anime will be released soon.

The story of Angel Next Door anime

Amane is a high school student who lives alone in an apartment and suffers from a cold. Mahiru, meanwhile, is his next door neighbor who also attends the same school as him. But the duo never spoke despite being neighbors.

Now Mahiru is the prettiest girl in school, making her the jellyfish next door. She is known as Angel, in her school.

One day he finds her sitting in the rain in distress, feeling quite sorry for the young girl, he lends her his umbrella with the hope that she will return it to him with gratitude. But to his surprise, she does not attempt to return the umbrella but rather offers to take care of him and help him with his household chores. Thus, in no time, he will be able to get rid of his illness.

As the two get to know each other and the distance between the duo closes, something more than a neighborly relationship occurs. And who knows that a little something can blossom into a beautiful love story between these two?

Characters from the anime Angel Next Door

The entire cast or characters are yet to be revealed by the production team. But from what we can understand and are aware of, Shiina Mahiru and Fujimiya Amane are the two main characters. The anime revolves around the lives and events of these two.

Later in a teaser, two more characters were announced Shirakawa Chitose and Akazawa Itsuki. Let’s wait to see if there are other characters that will be present in the anime.

A teaser release announcement was announced by the team in March 2022. And in May, the above four characters were introduced in the teaser.

The anime’s trailer could be released in 2023 or possibly by the end of 2022. While a release of the third teaser in 2023 has been made official. Let’s wait and see, while we come back with any updates we receive from PD.
