Rochdale has parted ways with manager Robbie Stockdale.
The decision comes with Dale sitting bottom of the Sky Bet League Two after losing all four of their games.
Rochdale haven’t scored a league goal since losing 2-1 to Crewe, despite beating Burton 2-0 in the Carabao Cup first round.
The 42-year-old, who becomes the EFL’s first managerial casualty of the season, has been in charge of Spotland for just over a year and helped Dale finish 18th last season.
A statement on the club’s website read: “Rochdale parted ways today with Robbie Stockdale and Jimmy Shan.
“The Board of Directors would like to formally express their thanks to Robbie and Jimmy, and wish them every success in the future.”
