The Pixy drone will likely be shelved

In April this year, in addition to the new AR filters, Snap also introduced a small drone capable of taking photos and videos of you. Unfortunately, the gadget, which bears the name Pixy, was not intended for our market, but was only intended to appear in the United States and France.

As CEO Evan Spiegel now reports, according to The Wall Street Journal, that drone is apparently being buried. The reasons for this are probably that Snap needs to rethink the use of resources in the current situation. The quarterly results are again disappointing and layoffs are probably on the way. It is therefore understandable that one wants and must concentrate on the core business. Existing stock will likely be sold to interested parties.
