Self-rechargeable headphones at 229 euros

adidas and Zound Industries, which sell headphones under the sporting goods maker’s brand, have introduced a new model: the adidas RPT-02 SOL Wireless. Swedish solar technology provider Exeger also helped here. That’s why the temples are equipped with Powerfoyle, a light-cell material that can be recharged via natural and artificial light.

That’s why the headphones are also equipped with an indicator light on the headband, which helps identify the best light source for charging. In the adidas Headphones app, the charging status and battery level can be tracked in real time. The new adidas RPT-02 SOL is sold for €229. So that the device can also be used for sports, protection against sweat and splashing water according to IPX4 is provided. The temples and ear cushions are replaceable and washable.
