Another week has almost passed and I hope you enjoyed it – also completely away from the tech world. If you’re still looking for entertainment for today: On Friday, I pointed out that Apple currently made the first season of the “See” series available to everyone for free. Of course, you want to get in the mood for the upcoming Season 3 premiere.
A day earlier, LibreOffice 7.4.0 was released, the latest version of the free office suite. I use it myself in addition to Microsoft’s Office, because some things look better in LibreOffice for my liking and some things work better with Microsoft’s product. Incidentally, during the week there was also new information about the next Netflix tariff with advertising. Unfortunately it will probably remove the download function – stupid for commuters and frequent travelers.
For a change, Xiaomi has not released a new smartphone every day either, but is sending its Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro, 3 and 3 Lite to Germany. Perhaps they are interesting for one or the other reader? It should also be interesting that Android 13 is now officially released. Of course, Google’s own Pixel models are the first mobile devices to receive the new operating system. But early companies like Xiaomi and Oppo have also already unveiled their update plans.
Last Sunday, our guest author Timo published his test report on the Beelink U59 Pro, a mini PC with Windows 11. A little reminder also from last Saturday: Benny tested the Asus Zenfone 9 and learned a lot about the underdog in the smartphone market found favor.
