Resident Evil will not have a second season

This year, Netflix ventured into a very gratuitous live-action adaptation of “Resident Evil” and, judging by the ratings, flopped. At IMDB, the production is 3.9/10 and at Rotten Tomatoes, the average audience score is only 26%. As Deadline reports, all of that is reason enough for Netflix not to order a second season of the show.

The first weekend the series aired 72.7 million hours, the second week it was 73.3 million hours, and the third week it wasn’t even in the top 10. The number of viewers was therefore disappointing.

However, Netflix would like to continue working with the cast in the future. Have you logged into Resident Evil?
