Snapchat introduces dual camera mode

Snapchat is beefing up its app again: the in-app camera has been expanded to include a dual camera mode. This is available now for Apple iOS, but will also follow for Android “in the coming months”. You can activate the dual camera via a new icon in the toolbar.

What exactly does the dual camera do? Well, your front and main cameras are active at the same time, so you can view two perspectives at the same time. Snapchat shows what can result in the following video.
