It is rare for footballers to be publicly candid about their hopes of changing clubs.
But Bundesliga striker Jonas Wind has openly admitted he hopes to move to Arsenal.
The 23-year-old said he was a huge Gunners fan and North London would be a “dream destination” for him.
Wind has been at Wolfsburg for a year, scoring five goals in 14 Bundesliga games in his debut season.
In a recent interview, he said the Premier League “is the best league in the world” and he would relish the “exciting” opportunity to play there.
“If we look to the future, Arsenal would be a dream destination for me because they have always been my favorite club,” The wind told Bulinews.com.
“In general, I think the Premier League is the best league in the world, and it would be exciting to play there.
“But like I said, that’s not what I’m focusing on right now. I’m fine here at Wolfsburg, it’s a good club for me, and the Bundesliga is a great league to play in. “
Wind has scored five goals in 15 games for Denmark and is expected to be part of Denmark’s squad for the 2022 World Cup this winter.
