Together with NASA, Google wants to teach us even more about the solar system in Google Search and Google Arts & Culture. As the company reports, more than 60 3D models of planets, moons, and spacecraft from NASA have now been implemented in search alone for display there as AR search results — at least on the smartphone. .
After all, 3D models are displayed on the computer, with a lot of useful information – biology topics and other teaching models will also be offered here later.
A new Google Arts & Culture project lets you explore the solar system, with stories about Neptune’s diamond rain, gas giants and dwarf planets, Saturn’s moons and NASA missions like the Parker Solar Probe or Landsat. NASA also presents all kinds of images from the Hubble Space Telescope, shows information about the ISS and explains the mission of the Mars Perseverance rover.
