You can also fight the sinister Margit on the table in the future.

Do you want to bring the epic battles you fought in the Midland to your living room table at home? Then there’s good news: Elden Ring is getting its own board game. As with other analog video game conversions, the title benefits from a Kickstarter campaign.

Everything revolves around this: The action-RPG adaptation is being implemented through a collaboration between Elden Ring publisher Bandai Namco and Steamforged Games. The latter are also no strangers, but have already been on board a Dark Souls board game and other adaptations such as Resident Evil.

In the Elden Ring board game, you can embark on your Between Lands adventure alone or with three friends. As the Steamforged website reveals, as you play you’ll not only traverse familiar locations, but you’ll also encounter characters and enemies from FromSoftware’s open-world epic.

Just like in video games, the focus should be on challenging battles and you will fight them in a zero dice system. Steamforged has yet to explain exactly how it works, but on the website we read that players should “proceed strategically and adjust their plans with each encounter”. On the page we also already see an image of a Margit character. The boss should have remained in a good memory for some of you in the game.

How you can support the project: If you’re already shouting, “Great, how can I be a part of this?” the answer is: not yet, but soon via Kickstarter. The campaign hasn’t started yet, but you can be notified via the official website as soon as it goes live. Then we will definitely have more gameplay details and more pictures.

What do you think of this first information? Do you plan to support the campaign?
