According to previous rumors, the Google Pixel Watch would cost between 250 and 350 euros. Now, however, Max Weinbach is speaking up and talking about a price at the higher end of the sums that have been announced so far: it should start at US$349.99.
This price is for the variant without LTE. The LTE version of the Pixel Watch will start at $399.99. There is also news on the color variants: The pure Wi-Fi variant is available in the colors black (case) / obsidian (strap), silver / chalk and gold / hazelnut on the market. Black/Obsidian, Silver/Charcoal, and Gold/Hazel color variants are for LTE models.
If this information arrived, Google would not have hesitated to play with the prices in the upper league. Because the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 is there, for example in the USA, with cheaper entry-level prices. 9to5Google is therefore skeptical about the chances of success in the market, as the Galaxy Watch5 will most likely have a larger battery and a more modern SoC on board if the rumors about the Pixel Watch models come true.
According to colleagues from 9to5Google, the rumors that the Google Pixel Watch could be cheaper in Europe than in the USA are false. We will know in October if this information is true. Google will unveil its Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, as well as the Pixel Watch next month.
