A nice added value with PayPal is eliminated. If you ordered from retailers and paid via PayPal, you might pass on the return shipping costs to PayPal, as they have taken over in recent years (we’ve reported this). Up to 12x per year and up to 25 euros each, PayPal paid the return costs if a shop did not offer free returns anyway.

Specifically means:

Effective November 27, 2022, PayPal will no longer offer shipping labels for free returns and will no longer accept requests for refunds of return shipping costs. Users should ensure that they submit all legitimate buyer protection requests by the above date so that they can be received and verified as usual.

Users have until November 26, 2022, 11:59 p.m. local time to submit a free return request. From the next day, November 27, 2022, the service will be interrupted.
