Celtic recorded an after-tax profit of £5.9m last season despite spending nearly £40m on players.
The club reported a return to profit for the 12 months to the end of June 2022 following the easing of much of the trading disruption caused by the pandemic.
Revenue rose 45% to £88.2m, while operating expenses reached £91.7m.
Celtic netted £29m in transfer fees following the departures of Odsonne Edouard, Kristoffer Ajer and Ryan Christie, although they splashed more money as Ange Postecoglou transformed his squad.
Outgoing chairman Ian Bankier wrote: “The benefit of automatic qualification (for the Champions League) has brought certainty for the season ahead, allowing us to support our coach and strengthen the squad of players.
“Having signed Jota, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Alexandro Bernabei and Benjamin Siegrist in June 2022, we report a total investment in player registrations of £38.4m for the financial year.
“After the end of the year, we finalized the permanent signings of Sead Haksabanovic and Aaron Mooy as well as the temporary transfers of Moritz Jenz and Oliver Abildgaard.
“We continue to balance the benefits of investing in experienced players with young talent with a view to developing the performance of all players on the pitch and trading when the conditions are right.
“The successful execution of this model is challenging but is vitally important for clubs like Celtic.”
