WhatsApp Beta for Android 2.22.21.3 prepares avatars

WhatsApp is available as a new beta for Android in version 2.22.21.3. It turns out that the preparations for the avatars are continuing in the background. I first talked about it in June. He then went silent for a while and now, thanks to colleagues at WABetaInfo, new information is pouring in.

Avatars are still not unlocked. You should then be able to use them as a “mask” in video calls and also serve as stickers. In the new co-worker screenshots, you can see how the avatars should look like as stickers.

WhatsApp then apparently automatically creates a sticker package for you based on your created avatar. It should then also be possible to use the avatar instead of a normal profile picture. When will all this start? It’s in the air right now.
