Xbox: September update released

Microsoft has released the September update for Xbox. This includes many new functions and improvements. In addition to the general gaming experience, you also have an eye on the new Elite Wireless Controller.

The Xbox Elite 2 Wireless Controller is available today. With a price starting at 129.99 euros, it is not a cheap company. Microsoft would like to go in the direction of more customization and this is offered, among other things, with a controller that allows you to adjust the color of the Xbox button. Adjustments can be made with the current version of the Xbox Accessories app and the Xbox September Update via a Windows PC or Xbox console.

The Xbox console library has also been overhauled. This should now allow even easier access to games and apps. To this end, the view of my games and apps has been redesigned. You can also easily view all the games you have access to with a current Xbox subscription, including Game Pass and EA Access as well as Games with Gold.

In addition, the storage location for games and applications can now be selected, for example if you use external drives.

For each recording, the Xbox Game Bar includes a link to share captures, for example via social networks or messaging.

In party chat on Xbox One consoles or PCs with Windows 10 or 11, there should be less unwanted noise in the future. Noise canceling helps remove noises such as gamepad clicks, breathing noises, and background noises from parties – hopefully this also includes noises from various snacks. You always have the option to enable background noise, for example for background music. There are corresponding options in the “Games & Chats” area.

Organizing parties is now also easier. To do this, introduce a new “Start Party” button in the Xbox app. Games no longer need to be created from scratch. Via the Social tab, you can see the Parties option, which lists all the latest parties and also allows them to be restarted. Alternatively, you can also create a new party there and invite friends there.
