Release of FRITZ!OS 7.30 for the FRITZ!Box 5530 Fiber

AVM has released a new lab version for its FRITZ!Box 7530 AX. If you are one of the people who test these betas, the new version can be installed immediately – alternatively, those who are interested can of course also start the test operation. What does the new FRTZ!OS 7.39-99980 bring to the 7530 AX? Something very important. With the previous software version, WLAN devices may have very bad at no internet connection. The Internet:

Fixed Network couplings via extensive WireGuard with options for NetBIOS filtering, all data traffic and device selection
Fixed SMB builds, file and print builds on Microsoft Windows and other NetBIOS-based applications were not possible over a WireGuard VPN connection

Mesh:

Fixed LED signaling was missing when activating Mesh in some cases
Fixed LED signaling was missing when launching WPS from the UI

Cellular:

Fixed Some mobile phone keys are only recognized as “Other device” and therefore cannot be used
