The “Wednesday” series has been given a start date: it will be available exclusively on Netflix from November 23, 2022. The format revolves around the eponymous character, played by Jenna Ortega. Of course, Wednesday belongs to the famous Addams Family. Tim Burton is also an executive producer and director of some episodes of the series.

The first season of “Wednesday” consists of eight episodes. Tim Burton himself directed the first four. Gandja Monteiro and James Marshall took the helm for two more each. The cast also includes Gwendoline Christie (Principle Larissa Weems), Jamie McShane (Sheriff Galpin), Percy Hynes White (Xavier Thorpe), Hunter Doohan (Tyler Galpin), Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Naomi J Ogawa (Yoko Tanaka), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene Ottinger), Georgie Farmer (Ajax Petropolus), Riki Lindhome (Dr Valerie Kinbott) and Christina Ricci (Marilyn Thornhill).

Guest stars include Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams) and many more. on board.

In the “Wednesday” series, the Addams daughter must face a series of shocking murders. Personally, I liked the teaser, although I hope the series will not focus too much on teenagers as its main target. But I will definitely take a look.
