iOS 16: Developer Beta 7 is here

The new iPhones and Apple Watch have been in contention for a few days and as a result one or both of you have probably already installed the new operating systems. Apple still has some work to do here and there, adding features like the Shared Photo Library and tweaking the systems further. Therefore, iOS 16.1 has been in beta testing for quite some time and now the third test version is available for developers.

The first beta included preparations for Matter, Live Activity API support, and more. In the second, the battery display percentage has been adjusted and the copy bug has been fixed. As usual, if there are any innovations in Beta 3, we’ll let you know.

Of course, this also applies to the iPadOS 16.1 beta 4 developer, because the tablet system does not yet officially have all the innovations under the hood, Apple still has some work to do.

Anyone with a developer profile on the device can now update via OTA or iTunes.
