Display wrist temperature in degrees Celsius

watchOS 9.0.1 released for Apple Watch Ultra

Newer Apple Watches can monitor wrist temperature. Wrist temperature is a metric related to body temperature measured by your Apple Watch while you sleep.

Your body temperature naturally fluctuates and can vary each night due to your diet and exercise, alcohol consumption, sleep environment, or physiological factors such as menstrual cycles and illness. We wrote a detailed article about it here.

A little note on this. In the quick view of the Health app itself, Apple doesn’t show any temperature, just an overview with possible deviations of x° Celsius.

If you want to know the temperature measured on the wrist, look under the measured temperature data under “Show all data” in the Health app. There you will find the collected data in detail – including the specification in degrees Celsius.
