The new e-scooter starts at 889 euros

A new e-scooter is launched: the IO Hawk Sparrow 2. It is available in black and white. The mobile base is made of aluminum alloy and weighs 19 kg (with 15 Ah battery) or 21 kg (with 20 Ah battery) depending on battery size. Both variants have indicators, brake lights, 500 watt motor power and an integrated lock in common.

The IO Hawk Sparrow 2 is equipped with 10-inch all-terrain tires. According to the manufacturer, the motor engages particularly smoothly once the scooter has been rolled with the foot. Acceleration of the Sparrow 2 is controlled via the thumb throttle on the handlebars. The LED display is also located there, which provides information on driving speed, battery level and Bluetooth connectivity. Thanks to the sun protection, it must be readable at all times. The Sparrow 2’s three different speed modes (6 km/h / 15 km/h / 20 km/h) can also be set on the display.

Depending on the size of the battery chosen, the ranges are 67.5 or 90 km. The scooter can also be paired with the IO Hawk app. The app can lock the e-scooter and allows you to set riding modes, navigation or route tracking. Disc brakes on the front and rear wheel provide braking control. In addition, the scooter comes with a front light and offers a rear light with integrated brake light. In addition, it has front turn signals. The optional rear indicators are available for 100 euros. They come from the German manufacturer Kellermann. The turn signals and the light are controlled via the control unit on the handlebars.

The scooter allows a load capacity of up to 120 kg. The IO Hawk Sparrow 2 with 15 Ah battery is available from 889 euros. The version of the e-scooter with a 20 Ah battery is available for 989 euros.
