Signal: Messenger gets Stories feature

The messenger signal also gets a stories feature. Stories allow users to create and share images, videos and text with their friends on Signal that will automatically disappear after 24 hours. Stories are end-to-end encrypted.

According to the developer, users always have full control over who they share their stories with. You can share your stories with all of your Signal connections (Signal connections = contacts + anyone you’ve had a 1:1 conversation with), with a custom list of friends, or with a Signal group.

When users share stories with groups, all other members of that group can view, share, react, and reply to that group story. However, the whole thing is first tested for those testing the beta version of Signal. Important point: If you don’t like stories, you can turn them off completely in settings.
