Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25217 for those who love testing. People who want to implement widgets will find great innovations. Developers can start building and testing widgets with the latest Insider Preview builds on the Dev Channel and WinAppSDK 1.2 Preview 2 build. Third-party widgets can only be tested locally with the latest Insider Preview builds on the Dev Channel. Once WinAppSDK 1.2 GA is released, users of “regular” versions of Windows 11 will be able to start getting third-party widgets through the Microsoft Store.
