“A bit strange obviously – but now I’ve been in the business for a long time… so I know how football works; it can be part of football. Obviously I find it a bit strange; I’m human, you know , it is what it is.
“Obviously we’re focused now on getting to the top, and I think that’s the main goal now. We have a new coach with a very clear idea, a positive guy too – so we’re let’s focus on that and I’m looking forward to that.”
Under Potter, Aubameyang scored his first Chelsea goals: he equalized in the 2-1 win at Crystal Palace (opens in a new tab) last time in the Premier League and then struck again as the Blues recorded their first Champions League victory of the season on Wednesday by beating AC Milan (opens in a new tab) 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
