New beta updates with entry improvements and more

Valve informs that SteamOS version 3.3.2 as well as an updated Steam client can now be downloaded and installed. This includes all sorts of innovations and improvements that the team has already tested in ongoing beta tests.

Innovations include, for example, that “problematic resolutions” such as 4096×2160 or 30Hz modes should now be automatically avoided if you have an external display connected. Refresh rate switching via quick access menu for external displays has been disabled by default. Alternate refresh rates are still accessible through the resolution drop-down menu in Settings -> Display. Anyone interested can view the full changelog here.
