In September last year, Nintendo announced that an animated film based on a well-known video game hero – namely Super Mario – would be released later this year. The disillusion came in April, as the start of the strip was postponed to spring 2023.

But even the waiting time is over and now you can watch the first Super Mario Bros trailer. Of course, you can see Bowser, King of the Coopers, playing with penguins. Meanwhile, Mario finds himself in a mushroom world and encounters Toad, while Luigi flees from Bone Turtles. It’s just a teaser, but I’m curious to see what Illumination does with it.
