Twitter is testing a new profile tagging for verified phone numbers

You’ve probably noticed: Elon Musk wants to take over Twitter. Initially, Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter seemed quite targeted. Then followed Musk’s resignation and an attempt to walk away from the acquisition deal. Musk had doubts about the number of users: he claimed that there were more fake or spam accounts than Twitter had reported. There were disputes over access to the data and in the end Musk gave up and dropped the case. But Twitter insisted on the takeover and sued Musk – Musk responded with a counterclaim. The proceedings are currently suspended, but only for a certain time. Delaware Chief Judge Kathaleen McCormick quashed the Oct. 17 trial. If Musk hasn’t reached the deal by October 28, they will find themselves in court in November.
