Global PC shipments continued to decline in Q3 2022

The IDC recently covered global PC shipments again, this time for the third quarter of this year. According to the figures, these shipments fell again during the period, by 15%. The downward trend still continues. Expressed in figures, the number of deliveries corresponds to approximately 74.3 million devices.

The reasons for the decline are still the unbalanced supply, but also the continued decline in demand – mainly due to rising inflation around the world. Traditional PCs considered here include desktops, laptops, and workstations, but not tablets and x86 servers, according to IDC.
