‘Causeway’ Starring Oscar-Winning Actress Jennifer Lawrence Begins – Second Trailer Released

Apple recently secured the rights to the movie Causeway, which was produced and developed by A24. The film stars Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, who plays a soldier who ends up with a traumatic injury and struggles in her native New Orleans. There she meets mechanic James (Brian Tyree Henry – “Eternals”), with whom she develops an unexpected relationship.

The film starts today on Apple TV+ and could be a candidate with which the Cupertino company is applying again for one or the other prize. If you are still unsure if the movie is on the current watchlist, you can watch the new trailer.
