Drag Race Italia Season 3 Release Date: Do you like watching reality TV shows?

We love reality TV shows where contestants have to compete against each other. It’s super exciting to watch and also extremely entertaining. When competitions happen on reality shows, we can’t seem to keep our cool due to our adrenaline rush.

Drag Race is one of those Drag Queen competition TV shows. The franchise was created by RuPaul. The origin of the contest dates back to 2009 in the United States. RuPaul’s Drag Race was created as a replacement for Rick & Steve: The happiest gay couple in the world (2007-2009). RuPaul’s Drag Race aims to bring the next “Drag Superstar” who would be full of charisma, talent, nerve and uniqueness. RuPaul’s drag race is often credited with introducing drag to mainstream media.

Drag Race Italia is the Italian version of RuPaul’s Drag Race. This Italian edition is produced by Ballandi Arts Studio. The format of the Italian version of the show is quite similar to that of the American version of the show. The show asks its contestants to compete for the title “Italia’s Next Drag Superstar”. The winner who assumes the title has the chance to be the ambassador of MAC Cosmetics for one year.

Drag Race Italia Season 3 Release Date

The first episode of Season 1 of the series premiered on November 18, 2021. The cast for the first season was announced on October 29, 2021. The show’s second return to TV screens was officially confirmed on October 1. March 2022. The premiere of the show was confirmed on October 20, 2022.

Regarding the return of the show for a third installment, we have no such news. This is mainly because the show was renewed for its second run very recently. The successful ending of season 1 led to the creation of season 2. We will probably have a third season if the second season becomes a success like the first. However, these are assumptions. It cannot be said with conformity if we will have a third season. We’ll have to wait for further updates from the show’s creators themselves.

Drag Race Italia Season 3 Story

Essentially, Drag Race Italia is a reality TV show where contestants must compete against each other.

In Season 1, there were 8 contestants. They had to compete to win 30,000 pounds, a chance to be the ambassador of MAC Cosmetics, a year’s supply of cosmetics, a crown and a scepter of Fierce! Drag the jewels.

Grand prizes for the Season 2 winner have yet to be announced. We will meet them soon.

As for Season 3 talks, we will have a group of contestants who will have to compete against each other. The format of the show may or may not remain the same. A few changes may be made, but the essence of the show, which is to compete with others, will remain the same.

Drag Race Italia Season 3 Cast

The season 1 cast of the show included Elecktra Bionic, Farida Kant, Le Riche, Luquisha Lubamba, Ava Hangar, Divinity, Enorma Jean, and Ivana Vamp. The Season 1 winner was Elecktra Bionic. The jury included Priscilla, an Italian drag performer, Chiara Francini, an actress, and Tommaso Zorzi, a television personality.

Season 2 contestants include Aura Eternal, La Petite Noire, La Diamond, Nehellenia, Panthera Virus, Skandalove, Gioffre, Obama, Tanissa Yonce, and Narciso. The first episode had guest judge Patty Pravo. Episode 2: “Colourful Drag, Lucky Drag” featured Ludovico Tersigni and Nancy Brilli as guest judges. Guest judges for Episode 3 have not been announced at this time.

Since there is no news regarding the season 3 of the show, the cast of the show is unknown to us. Once the creators decide to send the show back for its third run, the cast will be announced at the stated time.
