John Wick Prequel Series Coming to Amazon Prime Video Internationally

The John Wick film series starring Keanu Reeves will have a prequel in the form of The Continental series. The series revolves around the manager of the hotel of the same name, Winston Scott, who has been portrayed in all three of Ian McShane’s films. Since the series is set in the 1970s, Colin Woodell takes on the lead role here. As studio Lionsgate announced, the series will stream internationally on Amazon Prime Video.

We also have Mel Gibson, Ayomide Adegun, Ben Robson, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Jessica Allain, Mishel Prada, Nhung Kate and Peter Greene on camera. The Continental will be released in 2023. The series tells how Scott was able to take control of the eponymous hotel.

However, there is no new hardware yet. I’m sure I’m not the only one looking forward to a trailer. In the meantime, though, “John Wick: Chapter Four” is set to debut on March 24, 2023. It’s definitely worth a look, too.
