RTL+ now has nearly 4.8 million paying subscribers

RTL Group published new financial results covering the period from January to September 2022. It was possible to increase revenues by 12%. In addition, the number of RTL+ subscribers was boosted in the third quarter of 2022.

We last reported in May 2022 that RTL+ was able to amass almost 3.2 million subscribers in Germany. According to the current financial results of RTL Group, the number of subscribers is now 4.784 million paying subscribers in Germany. We recall that the partnership with Deutsche Telekom and Magenta TV in particular has exploded the number of subscribers.

Due to the decline in advertising revenue, which is also attributed to the economic situation and changes at Fremantl, RTL Group now only assumes 7.2 billion euros in revenue for 2022. Previously, it was predicted 7.3 to 7.5 billion euros.
