1&1 would be among those interested

Bloomberg recently reported that Comcast plans to sell Sky Germany. The reason for this is, among other things, that Sky Germany’s pay-TV business had a negative impact on its European business in the last quarter. As now reported on DWDL.de, 1&1 would also have listened as an interested party. Then Montabaur’s business could soon attract TV packages and position itself much closer to the big competition from Vodafone and Telekom. Inquiries with 1&1 have so far gone unanswered, according to DWDL. It is therefore far from certain that it will eventually be sold.
