Again and again on Sundays week 44

Again and again on Sunday week 33

It’s Sunday again and I hope you’re all having a relaxing weekend. If you were too busy during the week to consult the blog every day, here you will find a small summary of some news of the week. For example, it caused a stir that there was an error at the DKB: Sometimes there were double debits. The bank is working on the correction.

As people are hesitant to read about banking issues, the launch of the new Matter smart home standard is expected to be more popular. Matter is supposed to provide more interoperability in the smart home. Ikea has already announced that it will take time, while Amazon has already named some Echo models which Matter is likely to receive in December 2022. That’s also Eve’s schedule, while Nanoleaf plans to start in early 2023.

In addition to this, the Germany ticket at 49 euros is now done. It is intended to succeed the 9 euro note. There have been lots of reviews and lots of praise, everyone will have their own opinion. For my part I think the concept is good, but at the price of 49 euros I will buy it from time to time if necessary. Thanks to my home office, I use public transport very little.

It will also be exciting when it comes to Microsoft’s planned takeover of Activision Blizzard: the European Commission is expected to announce a more detailed review soon. Xbox division chief Phil Spencer, meanwhile, has considered bringing “Call of Duty” permanently to PlayStation consoles. We have to wait and see how the situation around the potential agreement develops.

On Monday, our guest author Torsten posted his review of the Anycubic Kobra Go. On the other hand, I took a look at the games “PGA Tour 2K23” and “Sackboy: A Big Adventure”. I also watched “Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection” on PC and was pretty impressed with the port. “Gotham Knights”, on the other hand, I like as a fan of Batman, but it does not come close to the series “Batman: Arkham”.

Like every Sunday morning, on behalf of the whole team, I wish all readers a great Sunday and a great start to the week tomorrow. Caschy, Benny, Olli, Felix and I are happy if you keep looking around the blog and maybe even leave a comment. The blog will continue to have new articles to read throughout the day.
