Former Arsenal right-back Lauren has praised the Gunners after their 1-0 win at Chelsea and insists “London are still red”.
Arsenal put on an impressive display at Stamford Bridge and prevailed thanks to Gabriel Magalhaes’ second-half goal, but Mikel Arteta’s men could easily have won by a bigger margin in west London.
“Just watched 14 warriors put on an awesome performance and dominate the game,” Lauren wrote on Twitter.
And he added: “London is always red, you know…”

Gabriel was quick to claim bragging rights after his winner on Sunday, tweeting: “Nothing personal…London is red.”
Arsenal’s victory takes them two points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League, with just one round of fixtures before the World Cup.
The Gunners will be out against Wolves in this fixture and a win will ensure they sit top of the table ahead of the enforced break for Qatar 2022.
