Google’s Android team is busy. The November patch for Android has been released there, and there are also bug fixes for Pixel devices. And those who walk the beta paths will now get Android 13 QPR1 Beta 3.1. This one also comes with the November patch and fixes a few bugs:
Fixed a platform issue that caused applications to crash when using a MediaSession to process hardware media player button inputs.
Fixed an issue where a device’s GPU drivers would sometimes cause the system UI to freeze during normal use of the device.
Fixed an issue where Pixel phones would sometimes display an incorrect “Missed call” notification instead of “Call answered on another device” when the call was answered remotely by the Pixel watch (in unlinked mode).
Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the Google Camera app to crash.
Fixed an issue that prevented the Google Assistant from being activated via a keyword on some devices.
Fixed an issue that prevented motion-based gestures, such as B. “Pick up to check phone” worked on some devices.
Fixed an issue that sometimes caused artifacts when recording or viewing videos on some devices.
Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the Google Camera app to launch slowly.
Fixed an issue for Pixel 6a devices that sometimes caused CarrierSettings to crash when a SIM card was inserted.
Users can get started with QPR1 Beta2 today by registering their Pixel device. After registration, participating devices will receive an over-the-air (OTA) update to the latest beta versions. If users have already subscribed to the Android 13 beta (and not unsubscribed), they will automatically receive QPR1 Beta 2 and all future beta updates.
