Zattoo, a TV streaming provider, is now available with its own app on smart TVs from Hisense and Loewe. The Zattoo app is already pre-installed on most devices with the VIDAA operating system. With the next software update, the app will also be available for newer models.
The app can then also be set as a TV source on the TV. The TV program starts via Zattoo as soon as the TV is switched on. Existing users can register as usual in the Zattoo app on the corresponding devices.
Anyone who does not yet have a subscription can opt for a Premium or Ultimate subscription directly in the TV app, via the online store or in the app on the mobile device. From next year, there will also be a separate Zattoo button on the remote control of new Hisense models, which allows direct access to the Zattoo app with just one click.
“The majority of our users broadcast their television on the big screen. With the additional range of devices from Hisense and Loewe, we are extending our technical availability to connected TVs and are therefore an easy and convenient alternative to traditional reception methods such as satellite or cable TV for even more homes,” says Constanze Gilles, General Manager. Direct-to-consumer (DTC) manager at Zattoo.
