Android app gets media library overhaul

Google regularly improves the applications of its music streaming service YouTube Music and has made various revisions to the user interface. Finally, the optics of the playlist was screwed.

Now the Now Playing screen follows (via 9to5google). Among other things, rounded corners have been added to the cover, the current title is displayed in the header, the buttons have shrunk a bit and have been enlarged, and the screen spacing has been improved overall. Ultimately makes the controls easier to use. It’s also worth noting that Google hides the dislike button behind the three-dot menu. It is also a way to prevent the user from giving negative feedback.

This change has not yet arrived on my Pixel even with the current version, so it seems to be a server-side update.
