Cloud storage solution launched – free storage plan available

Most will surely be familiar with Shadow from the realm of cloud PC. A planned reorientation was announced in the spring. Even then, it was announced that they wanted to bring a cloud storage solution to market. With Shadow Drive, the time has come and Shadow’s cloud solution is entering the European market.

Shadow Drive relies on end-to-end data encryption. The cloud solution is also affordable. Shadow Drive was developed in cooperation with Nextcloud. Numerous Nextcloud modules, WebDAV compatibility and connection to various software are also available.

Up to 20 GB of storage is free. A premium version is available for EUR 8.99 per month with a 2 TB storage plan. However, the offer is completely independent of Shadow PC, so a subscription is not mandatory there.

Shadow Drive has a web interface as well as Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS apps, some of which are still in beta. The service belongs to Europe and The data of European users therefore remains entirely in Europe.
