Consumer Center warns against fake payment claims

According to the Consumer Advice Center Brandenburg, consumers are currently receiving professional-looking, multi-page warnings about alleged copyright infringements. The persons concerned are accused of having made a porn film available to the public for download. The transfer must be made to Ireland.

The IBAN for the transfer begins with the abbreviation IE. According to the letter available to the VZB, the amount is 747.60 EUR. The sender apparently hopes that the written consumers will pay an amount of more than 700 euros per shame.
