Slightly slimmed down version of the robot vacuum's flagship

With the Deebot X1 Omni, Ecovacs has a super flagship vacuum robot at the start – see also my test. In my opinion, this model can easily compete with a Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra. Some time ago I presented my personal comparison here in the blog for you. With the Deebot X1 Omni E, a slightly lighter version is now available. I’ll take a look at this version for you too. On paper, however, the cuts seem manageable.

The robot vacuum cleaner used is almost identical. It works again with 5200mAh battery capacity and 5000Pa suction power. Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni and X1 Omni E also share other functions like 3D map making, voice assistant Yiko or AIVI 3D, TrueMapping 2.0 and Ozmo Turbo 2.0. So you don’t have to go without anything…almost anyway.

There is a small but subtle difference between the suction cup and the station: while the X1 Omni’s station can automatically fill the robot’s water tank, this is no longer the case with the X1 Omni E. Because the vacuum cleaner no longer has its own tank. Similar to the Roborock S7 MaxV, mops are only dampened at the station. And that was it with the differences between the two models – except the price, of course.

However, I only have US price recommendations for comparison. Here Ecovacs is officially quoting $1,299 for the Deebot X1 Omni and $1,099 for the X1 Omni E – that’s $200 less. In Germany, the Deebot X1 Omni costs 1,499 euros according to the RRP – the Omni E currently sells for 1,299 euros. However, it is already available via a coupon for 1,099 euros. However, it is not currently worth it, because there is the better quality Deebot X1 Omni with the automatic recharge function, which the Omni E lacks, for 999 euros as a Black Friday offer.

That’s still a lot of money for such a robot vacuum with a dump station, but at least it’s less than the official launch price recommendation. But I think the price of the new Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni E will come down soon.
