Captain America Tim Blake Nelson

Fans learned more about Captain America: New World Order at D23 Expo on Saturday. The most important thing they learned was who was in the Marvel movie.

Anthony Mackie will play Sam Wilson/Captain America in the movie. Carl Lumbly will play Isaiah Bradley. Shira Haas will play Sabra, and Danny Ramirez will play Falcon.

And Tim Blake Nelson as The Leader, who seems to be the central villain in the movie. Fans of Marvel have been excited and surprised by the news that Nelson will be in the movie.

Over a decade and a half ago, in an episode of The Incredible Hulk, they most recently saw Nelson's Samuel Sterns.

The last time we saw this character, he was lying on the ground, and a hint was given that he would become The Leader. But the character hasn't been talked about since then.

Nelson isn't the only actor who has come back to the MCU after a long break. Tim Roth, who played Abomination in "The Incredible Hulk," was recently in "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law."

Danny Ramirez, who played Sam Wilson's military intelligence friend Joaquin Torres in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

And Carl Lumbly, whose bitter former Captain America was one of the show's best parts, will be back as well.

Onah called the film a ""paranoid thriller," and Mackie said, "I'm nervous!" Joyful. As expected," Captain America: New World Order releases May 3, 2024.
